ASJA Panel Event at Pages Bookstore

Tomorrow night at Pages Bookstore in Manhattan Beach, I’m proud to be part of an ASJA panel on Authors & Social Media.  We’ll be talking about how social media works in promoting and publishing your book, and answering questions from the audience.  They’ll also be a book signing after the panel, and refreshments are provided.  We had a long discussion about whether pants were necessary or not, and decided that I should probably wear some.

The panel starts at 7pm, you need to RSVP (which you can do here) and the cost is $10.  The information you’ll get at the panel alone is worth the price of admission, and the money goes to the American Society of Journalists & Authors, who does an outstanding job setting up and promoting events like these all year long.  The panel will be moderated by Kathy Sena, a writer and journalist I met through HARO (Help A Reporter Out). She’s funny, outgoing and the evening should be a lot of fun. The event will sell out, so be sure to RSVP soon, and come say hi to me if you make it out.
