The Key Scenes

Hey people.  This weekend was the big one for “11:11” production. Key scenes were shot, and on Sunday a HUGE moment was caught on film.  It was also caught by the still photographer, 3 Quarter Moon, but you’re not going to be seeing any of those photos before the premiere. On Saturday, we shot at lifeguard tower 11 on Huntington Beach. It was a long day of shooting but the scenes went down without a hitch.

tunnel

The only secret I've given away is that we shot in a tunnel. Not this tunnel, but one like it. Or not like it at all.

Sunday we were in Newport Beach, shooting Darian Weiss, Myles Jeffrey and Austin Thomas all day in the sun.  I forgot about the existence of suntan lotion for some reason, and burned my entire head (ironically, at the beach, I did not burn).  I was on Twitter all weekend answering question about the actors, the set, and the food.

This week I’m starting the actual writing of the score, what will be used to edit to so that Rocky can start cutting footage as soon as 2 weeks from now.  Expect the blogging and Twitter updates to continue through the post production process.
